^{My interest in wildlife has been with me since I was first able to explore the natural world around me, as a young boy I was always bringing something home from small mammals, amphibians, fish, insects and injured birds.}

^{Photography started for me about the age of 14 when I bought an enlarger, set up a dark room to develop black and white film. In later years I took up fishing and made a few fishing video’s mainly of my trips to France. My interest in fishing stopped and was replaced with wildlife photography in about 2004.}

^{In 2009 I set up a website sdimages.co.uk the main purpose being to view some of the many thousands of wildlife photographs I have taken. Although my main interest is still birds and Mammals, nature and all its biodiversity interests me, which has resulted in a growing collection of photographs. I hope you find the site interesting; it will never be completed as there is always something of interest to photograph in this ever changing environment.}
