Back to France today

Two years ago in late December I photographed this Hawfinch in the garden, feeding on cherry seeds.

Even though it’s a bit earlier in the year I am hopeful that I will see one.

I have enlisted the help of one of my neighbours to keep my bird feeders topped up so I could see Crested Tits feeding on them.

I will be checking my nest boxes to see if they are occupied. This is the first time I have put up boxes for Dormice and it will be interesting to see the results (plus the opportunity to photograph them).

My wife is in Florida enjoying better days with great weather and wildlife (think I made a mistake not going with her by going to France instead). Two weeks in Mexico next year will make up for that.

Some of my camera equipment will include a trail cam and camera triggers to capture Deer or Pine Martin you never know your luck.
